Funds raised from the Frankton McDonald’s Colour Run / Walk directly support eligible New Zealand (kiwi) families to access accommodation and care through Ronald McDonald House Charities®, while their children undergo essential or life-saving hospital treatment.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just keen for a laugh with your friends or family, this event is all about celebrating movement, joy, and supporting a great cause.

Colour stations begin on Innes Common, then you can either walk/run/dance around Hamilton Lake which is approx 4km or stay back and hang with us.

Super fun for all ages and stages

If you are keen to attend on your own, with your friends or whānau, your club, school or workplace, we welcome you all. You don't have to participate in the colour part either. Just join in the atmosphere on the day. (Tickets are required though.)

Great food and activities

Join us for a fun-filled day with delicious food trucks, live tunes, and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained - from the Warm-Up Zone, Chill Zone and Fun Zone to face painting, giant bubbles and so much more.

Life can shift in a heartbeat, which is why it’s so special to have joyful memories to look back on - especially during moments when things don’t go as planned or when we need a gentle reminder of just how beautiful life truly is.
